General terms and conditions of sale

1. Scope
These terms apply to every sale and every rental of Lumignon LED candle stands, spare parts and repairs by F & L Ayer Sàrl. The customer accepts them by signing the order form, on paper or online. A different written agreement takes precedence over them.
2. Offer and order
The validity period of an offer is stated on the offer itself. A promotional offer is valid until its end date, for orders received by that date. The order is concluded when we confirm it in writing, with the planned delivery date.
3. Prices
Prices are in Swiss francs (or in euros outside Switzerland), excluding VAT. VAT at the statutory rate is added. Delivery is invoiced separately, unless stated otherwise. The quantity discount and the reductions of a current offer are calculated according to the accepted offer, on the list price.
4. Payment
- Upfront payment: 50 % deposit with the order, balance 10 days after delivery.
- Monthly, over 24 months: rent invoiced quarterly. Minimum commitment of 12 months. After 12 months, the customer may buy the device (rent already paid is deducted) or return it to us. After 24 months, the device belongs to the customer.
5. Ownership
A purchased device belongs to the customer once paid in full. A rented device remains the property of F & L Ayer Sàrl until payment of the last rent or of its buyout price.
6. Delivery and installation
We deliver to the agreed address, on the confirmed date. The device plugs into a 230 V socket; no work in the church is required. Each device is delivered with three spare candles. Risk passes to the customer on delivery. A late delivery gives no right to terminate the contract nor to any compensation.
7. Warranty
- Years 1 and 2: parts, labour and return shipping included.
- Years 3 to 5, as an option (extended warranty, CHF 190.- per device, or the price of the current offer): parts free of charge; transport is at the customer's expense, or the device is dropped off at the Vauderens workshop. A simple part (candle) is sent by post and can be replaced without special tools.
- Never covered: breakage, vandalism, lightning, power surge, misuse or intervention by a third party.
- A defect must be reported as soon as it is noticed, by telephone or by e-mail.
8. Repairs outside the warranty (prices excluding VAT)

These prices may change; the applicable price is the one in force on the day of the request.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the price of the device concerned, except in the event of intent or gross negligence, within the limits of the law. Indirect damage (loss of profit, organisational costs) is excluded.
10. Personal data
We use the customer's contact details for the order, invoicing, the warranty and follow-up. They are not passed on to third parties, except to the carrier for delivery.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of F & L Ayer Sàrl.
